The morning vihuela building forum was to mark the publication of a CD ROM of all seven 16th century vihuela prints in facsimile. Peter Forrester and Alexander Batov led the discussions. Alexander showed his moulds used to build a vihuela with a vaulted, fluted back and Jacob Heringman gave a brief demonstration.

At the pre-lunch mini recital, Gordon Ferries played baroque guitar music, as heard on his recent CD.

Many people lunched at the Pizza Express in Southampton Row

After lunch Kenneth Be gave another mini recital of music from the Braye manuscript.

The afternoon talk was by Peter Forrester on cittern building.

The Lute Society Recital was by  Joachim Held who played renaissance lute music from the Schele manuscript, with works by Joachim van den Hove, J.B. Besard, John Dowland, G. Kapsberger, Paulo d’Aragona and others.
